Wow!!! This saved my entire season!
What a huge comeback at MLF Bass Pro Tour competition on the James River. After making a complete change from day 1.... things significantly improved for this tournament. I’m just competing and enjoying my time. I don’t care which tour I’m fishing…. As long as I’m competing and having fun.
I live on the james and fish both. 70% of the time i do better in the james and the backs of alot of the creeks in the james on the out going tide the water temp can be 3 to 5 degrees cooler and the fish love it. I did notice that today, a few of the guys fished the james and will be fishing again tomorrow because of it. Some of the best fishing on both are in creeks between the Benjamin harrison bridge and the Brandon area

We are trying to do this more often. It’s hard when we fish opposite days and sometimes get eliminated. But our goal is to do this at each tournament. Glad you like it. We aren’t fancy… but we have fun.

Doug Garrett put me on the Bagley Chartreuse Black back square bill balsa crank bait. The problem was that you bought 50 to find 20 that ran correctly or the way we wanted. But they caught bass on the Arkansas River

The siding and roof… yes. But we had a fantastic builder for the main construction of the home. He worked closely with Morton on everything since it is one attached building and roof.
My partner and I won a tournament on ouachita a few weeks ago by throwing a buzzbait and horny toad all day. Summer, blue skies and brutal hot.

If the Appomatix River is part of your legal fishing waters, at the mouth of the Appomatix is a huge flat that usually has a ton of bait and bass. David Dudley made a ton a money there winning a Forrest Wood Cup using a homemade spinner bait. Good Luck Brother!!!

I appreciate your candid approach to what baits to throw. Most of your professional peers and trying to sell baits. I wonder if they realize how obvious the sales pitch is and if they don't realize we can see right through it. I ask the guy that runs my local tackle shop what is going on and I buys baits from him.
Thanks for this comment. I really appreciate it. It can be a struggle. Most of us really try to work with companies we truly believe in… and I always want to support and be grateful for the great companies that support me. But with baits….. I like so many brands and like to use a wide variety.
